German Shepherd Puppy FAQs: What You Need to Know Before Bringing One Home
A: Once individual pictures of the puppies are posted, the families who have placed an early deposit will be contacted in the order which deposits were received.
A: A non-negotiable $500 deposit is required to guarantee a puppy. This deposit is non-refundable as it takes the puppy off the market. The remaining balance must be paid before the scheduled pick-up date, typically two weeks prior.
A: Your deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to any litter by the breeder if there are not enough puppies of your chosen gender.
A: Puppies develop personality and character traits for their first year of life, there is no promise that your puppy will develop into exactly what you were hoping for. With that being said, puppies are chosen by the breeder and the breeder does a great job matching a puppy to the customer by based on the kind of dog they desire and their years of experience as dog owners.
A: The breeder reserves the right to hold on to puppies for personal use or shows.
A: We do not make sales with other breeders.
A: All of our dogs are east german working line shepherds and we do not breed any other kind of German shepherd.
A: If you have a scheduling conflict on the date of your pick-up, we can care for your puppy at $20 per day with additional rates for food and vaccinations.
A: All puppies have subtle differences but are similar in intelligence, personality, work ethic, color, and size so any of our puppies will likely be a great fit for your family.
A: We breed our puppies carefully and intentionally to ensure the highest possible quality. Therefore, we do not offer any discount prices as the quality of our puppies will not be compromised.
A: After the early deposit customers have a puppy reserved, the remaining puppies will be listed for sale.
A: Individual photos of the puppies begin at two weeks old and are updated each week.
A:Puppies can not go home until eight weeks of age and have received their first round of vaccinations.
A: Pick-up dates will be posted once they are born, and the date is for when they are eight weeks old and have received their first round of vaccinations. The date is a ballpark estimate but can be vary 7-10 days.
A: We never sell our puppies to stores, and we never broker or resell puppies.
